Hello everybody. i have the black cat skin and heavy metal skin. Both are black oriented. I also use the ActiveForums. (like this one) is there anybody with a black oriented skin for the ActiveForums? (identical to the forum used here on skin3) the current combination looks awkward.

Hi Paul,

I don't believe anyone has set up skin classes for any forum module to date.  Jani made a couple of changes for this version of Active Skin, but I'm not sure what he did.  I'm pretty sure it was simple stuff though.

I don't think I -- can't speak for my partners -- will directly support skinning a third-party forum... it's complicated.  I know because I'm on the project team for the DNN Forum module - in charge of skinning.  Phase 1 is creating all the icons - it's taken me nearly 100 hours at this point.  (Almost done.)

Phase 2 involves creating the skinning engine, and I"ll be developing the skins for the DNN release.  I understand that it will closely mirror the core skinning engine, but until we go down that road it will be difficult to say.

I think all jani did was add a small graphic from the skin3 skin as the header-bar for the forums, and changed some css to match the over all feel.  Have you looked at it yourself?

Cheers!
