KrystalWare was developed to provide a clean, efficient, professional looking DNN portal with outstanding skin and container flexibility. The large number of co-ordinated containers (50!), are mainly white, black and grey shades, employing a minimilist design approach suitable for business portals, e-commerce sites, and technology vendors. KrystalWare themes are based on single background color with multiple colored glass accents. It comes with a set of 9 skins (2 themed sets of 4 - plus admin) but each set can generate 10 different colored themes using glass accents - thats a total of 90 skins. (Instructions are included to generate color themes. A PSD file is included to create custom colors and integrated logos.)
Excellent Documentation:Classes in the cascading style sheet has been fully commented. HTML or ascx files are also fully commented. Everythng required to make basic changes is accesible from the skin - whehter you want to better inegrate your skin or "reverse-engineer" it!
DNN3 Optimized:KrystalWare skins only work with DNN 3.0.11 and later, and take full advantage of the new skinning features. You may make a special request for a DNN 2.0.12 version (no-charge), but some features will not be available. (This generally affects all action buttons. Admin buttons cannot be integrated the same way.) Action buttons in KrystalWare look great - see here: KrystalWare Action Buttons
Command Button Links:X:Skins were one of the first DNN 2 skins that provided matching Command Button links and I continue that tradition with KrystalWare . These classes are even more accessible in DNN 3 and they give your forms and other module buttons a more intuitive and integrated feel. Check this page out for graphic examples what I mean: Krystalware Command Buttons
High-Performance:Speed was a major design consideration for KrystalWare skins. The main skin uses a total of 7 GIF image files with a combined payload of 5.55 KB's. An average container employs about 6 slices and weigh-in at under 1 KB. CSS and HTML were used where appropriate. You don't have to give up pizzaz to get a snappy site!
Top Button:Tired of manually scrolling to the top of the page constantly? KrystalWare incorporates a "jump to the top of the page" mechanism, that does not use named anchors. (Named anchors will not work in DNN.) Each container and skin automatically has a "Top" link to make navigation through your long pages a snap! Test this at www.skin3.com
