Gamers, Rejoice!!!   Finally, a DNN3 skin developed specifically for gaming web-sites.  Gamer sets a new standard in DNN skinning flexibility, functionality and ease-of-use.  If you are building Gaming Communities, Clanz Sites, etc.  read-on.  Gamer not only takes on the task of creating cool, cutting-edge sites, but also the infra-structure required to quickly build large gaming portals from a single skin package:

Each skin and container was designed for ultimate flexibility and ease-of-use.  Skin backgrounds can easilly be set using the DNN Site Settings, changing the entire look of your site instantly. Container backgrounds can be set to a global "light" or "dark" image, or a specific "light" or "dark" or background  image that is only associated with a specific color container. Finally, a user can use the color and border attributes using the container/module settings!

Just one of those 53 containers can generate dozens of differently sylized, but matching permutations -
without modifying a single css or html/ascx file.

Gaming sites will typically have a large amount of hi-res graphics, showing game screen-shots, game-characters and other related art-work. Gamer skins minimizes page payload by using very efficiently rendered GIF's and a minimum of slices with containers and skins. I've gone to great lengths to share image files wherever possible. Gamer is optimized for creating highly dense pages, but allows you the flexibility to create space whereever you want.

Heavy Metal  is the first in a series of Gamer skins released by skin3  Heavy Metal is dark and brooding:   A hi-tech metallic finish employing neutral grays and a brightly colored Title bar area will make your content jump off the page.  Check out these screenshots:

Excellent Documentation:
Classes in the cascading style sheet has been fully commented.  HTML or ascx files are also fully commented.  Everythng required to make basic changes is accesible from the skin - whether you want to better inegrate your skin or "reverse-engineer" it!

DNN3 Optimized:
Gamer skins only work with DNN 3.1.1 and later, and take full advantage of the new skinning features. You may make a special request for a DNN 2.0.12 version, but some features will not be available.  (This generally affects all Action buttons.  Admin buttons cannot be integrated the same way.  Contact me at www.skin3.com)

AdminSkin.jpg  Admin Skins/Containers:
Properly configured Admin skins and containers are included with each Gamer release. This provides a more efficient and elegant working environment for content creators, editors and administrators.  They can also be used on normal site pages for specific content requirements.

Multi-Colors.jpg  Multi-Color Availability:
Mutliple-color skin and container combinations allow flexibility with very larger site structures or to integrate exisisting identity materials such as logos and game-play screen-shots.  Fully customizable background images and color themes make it a snap to customize your site as required.  A Photoshop PSD file is included to generate more container themes.

CommandButtons.jpg

Command Button Links:
X:Skins were one of the first DNN 2 skins that provided matching Command Button links and I continue that tradition with Gamer.  These classes are even more accessible in DNN 3 and they give your forms and other module buttons a more intuitive and integrated feel.

High-Performance:
Speed was a major design consideration for Gamer skins and containers.  The graphi-style skins (jpeg background not included) use a total of 9 GIF's with a combined payload of 9 KB's.  ALL 7 color containers, including, min/max buttons, print and syndicate button totals 4438 bytes!  There is one css file and sone skin.css file. You don't have to give up pizzaz to get a snappy site!

Top.jpg

Top Button:
Tired of manually scrolling to the top of the page constantly?  Gamer incorporates a "jump to the top of the page" mechanism, that does not use named anchors.  (Named anchors will not work in DNN.)  Each container and skin automatically has a "Top" link to make navigation through your long pages a snap!
